Ask the King
How do you pronounce ErrlKing?
“Earl-King.” Capital E, capital K, no space.
Where does the name ErrlKing come from?
Two places. “Errl” is legacy-market slang for oil — what people texted when they meant concentrate. And the Erlking (Der Erlkönig) is the crowned forest king of German folklore, made famous by Goethe's 1782 poem. Co-founders Jesse and Rusty, both of German descent, met in a college mythology class and loved the legend. Read the story.
When and where was ErrlKing founded?
In 2016, in West Michigan. We've been making live resin ever since, and today operate as a licensed processor in Bangor, Michigan.
What products does ErrlKing make?
Live resin, live rosin, cured resin, badder, sugar, sauce, crumble, RSO and distillate, vape cartridges and disposables, infused pre-rolls, moon rocks and live resin gummies.
What's the difference between live resin and live rosin?
Both start with fresh-frozen plants. Live resin uses hydrocarbon extraction; live rosin is solventless, pressed from ice water hash using heat and pressure.
